Mission Statement
The Warrior Family Books for NICU donates baby/children’s books, gift cards to newborn intensive care units, neonatal intensive care units and specialty care units in Massachusetts & Rhode Island (Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, Lowell General Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital). We would love to help give this opportunity to the families that have a baby or babies in the in the hospital to gain a sense of normalcy during a very difficult time.
About This Cause
Our miracle baby Anthony Francis was born on May 7th 2020 at 4:41pm weighing 1lbs 9oz. He stayed in the Brigham NICU for 4 months. Each time that we went to visit Anthony, we would always read him a book. The doctors and nurses said that even though he was so tiny Anthony could hear our voices and that by reading to him it would be a way for all of us to bond. Some families can’t afford to visit their child every day so we want to give gas gift cards to them to help them. We would love to help give this opportunity to the families that have a baby or babies in the hospital to gain a sense of normalcy during a very difficult time.
