Mission Statement
The mission of the Washington Canyon Coalition is to ensure sustainable access to canyons, to preserve and protect canyon environments, to promote a safe and welcoming community, and to support the interests of and provide a voice for Washington canyoneers.
About This Cause
The primary purposes of the organization are: 1. Promote sustainable access to Washington canyons 2. Promote protection of and care for canyon environments in Washington State 3. Promote safety and training for Washington Canyoneers We are a group of volunteers that love canyoning. We hope to share our love of these environments while helping ensure canyoners protect these wonderful places. We hope to create a vibrant community that works to gain and maintain access through responsible recreation. We hope to keep each other safe by offering training and promoting safe practices.
