About This Cause
The United Way of Richland County raises funds, year around, in order to grant dollars to impact, outcome producing programs in non-profit organizations throughout Richland County. These programs span the all social service areas in the community and are focused on four needs areas; Health Services, Emergency Services, Family Services, and Youth Development. We also operate a childhood literacy program called the Big Red Bookshelf which promotes literacy and family reading for youth and families from birth to the third grade.
