About This Cause
Mission Statement To educate children and youth in North America about South Indian Classical music and dance by conducting lessons taught by eminent musicians and performers and organizing lectures, demonstrations and workshops on the subtleties and salient features of classical music and dance; to encourage children to take up the arts by conducting music and dance competitions, and organizing concerts featuring artists from the community to promote awareness of South Indian Classical music and dance in the local community, and to provide Indian-Americans with a link to their cultural heritage by organizing performances of these fine arts by leading artists from India
