About This Cause
Arts Place nurtures the creative spirit in our community, making arts experiences, education & services accessible to the region’s residents, artists & cultural organizations. We offer expanded education opportunities in visual arts and offer a gallery for artists of the region to showcase their work. ArtWorks provides comprehensive instruction in the arts for both children and adults. Many ArtWorks classes are designed to provide a sequential curriculum, allowing a student to progress from the most basic skills to a high level of competency. Our Arts in the Parks program is a staple in the community offering affordable art classes to local children ages 6-12 in a variety of art mediums from dancing, and singing to painting and sculpting. These classes often have waiting lists for registration In addition to these, Arts Place hosts a variety of visual and performing arts events throughout the year.
