About This Cause
United Caring Services is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization -- a homeless shelter and services agency -- that provides people in need access to crisis stabilization services through six life-saving programs: a day shelter (drop-in center) for men, women, and children, emergency temporary shelters for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter during inclement weather, an innovative medical respite for men and women (part of our Recuperative Care Program), and 21 low-income studio apartments. As we serve the community through these programs, we are always seeking to address issues that cause and continue homeless and find solutions - like our Diversion Center, Bridge Housing, Shared Housing, and Village Housing endeavors. We strive to be a true Community of Caring for all people.
