To constantly improve what is essential to the social well-being of the Chinese Community and all people who enjoy Chinese cultures in Central Indiana through highly-regarded and inclusive educational, cultural, health, and social programs. About This Cause
Indianapolis Chinese Center, Inc (ICCCI) is the largest Chinese American Organization in the great Indianapolis area. It is a 501(c) not-for-profit and volunteer-supported community organization registered in the State of Indiana since 1995. ICCCI has two divisions - ICCCI Chinese School and ICCCI Culture Activity Groups. ICCCI Chinese School offers weekly Chinese language and cultural related art lessons with current enrollment of over 400 students (both language and extracurricular programs such as drawing, martial arts, children’s choir, chess, computer, instruments). These classes are open to the community at large and serve both adults and school age children. The ICCCI Activity division contains the famous Lion and Dragon dance team, Dance groups (Adults & Children’s dance), Choir Groups (Children and adults), Kung Fu, TaiJi and Sports (table tennis, basketball, Soccer) etc. The Activity Division, along with the school’s extracurricular art programs, has played a critical role in promoting the awareness of Chinese culture and building a more vibrant, multi-cultural landscape in central Indiana. Every year, ICCCI brings many exciting programs to community cultural festivals such as Indy 500 Parade, the International Festival of Indiana, Indy Chinese New Year Gala, Indianapolis Chinese Festival, and Carmel International Art Festival. The mission of ICCCI is to provide continuous improvement to what is essential to the social awareness, health and well-being of the Chinese community, as well as other citizens of central Indiana who enjoy Chinese culture. ICCCI provides high quality and inclusive educational, health, cultural, and social service programs that contribute to culture diversity in central Indiana by hosting or involving a variety of social and community activities.
