Mission Statement
Is to serve and minister to housing insecure persons in crisis, focused in Dearborn County and the surrounding counties of Franklin, Switzerland, Ohio, and Ripley.
About This Cause
We aspire to lift the dignity of all persons, to prevent homelessness, provide temporary housing, and help those struggling to re-enter society as positive, productive citizens. Heart House Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was established in 1998. We opened our 72 bed shelter in 2002 and provide a men’s dorm, women’s dorm, and 6 family rooms for those struggling with housing security. We are one of the few shelters in the greater Cincinnati area that provide comprehensive support for families as we believe that keeping families together is of the utmost importance.
