Mission Statement

ARPO is an organization devoted to the rescue and placement of at-risk dogs and cats in the Indianapolis area.

About This Cause

ARPO has been rescueing at-risk dogs and cats in the Indianapolis area since 1998. We are an all volunteer rescue group. All of our animals are in foster homes until they are placed in loving forever homes. Prior to adoption, all our animals have a vet check, are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have all appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees cover less than half of our operating costs. The rest is made up through fundraisers and donations. Thank you for considering ARPO as a recipient of your donations!
