Mission Statement

The GCC Foundation exists to instill hope, dignity and sustainable change for all people while transforming the lives of those who give and serve.

About This Cause

Begun in 2012, The Grace Care Center works with these families and individuals by providing four services, all designed to foster relationship-building, so that long-term stability can be achieved. *The Choice Food Pantry is available to all in Hamilton County and offers immediate relief by providing food (including dairy, meats, and fresh vegetables), and toiletries to families on a weekly basis. Families receive points based on household size and shop for their family on those points. Many Hamilton County families face situational poverty and the Choice Food Pantry helps them stay in their homes and keep their cars, until they can get a new job. *The Co-op was begun in 2016 as an outgrowth of previous work at the Center. Families who have used the food pantry for six months, and are willing to work with coaches to gain financial stability, join the Co-op. They receive one-on- one support that addresses their particular needs. This includes financial coaching, as well as referral services to other agencies for legal, mental or physical health needs. *Vehicle Services – Members of the Co-op are eligible for free car inspections and tune-ups. As cars are donated, and as families demonstrate the ability to afford maintenance costs, free cars are given to Co-op families to help them find and keep jobs. *ESL Classes are offered for a nominal fee in both Spanish and Arabic. The ability to speak English is critical for getting, and keeping a job, or taking classes to improve one’s skills.
