Mission Statement
We are Catholic nuns and live a simple life among the poor in the big cities of different countries, and since several years also in the United States, where we have been present since May 2008. We live in Kansas City, Kansas in an inner-city neighborhood with mostly Hispanics. Our mission is to pray (we are contemplative), to live a fraternal life and to proclaim the Gospel. Our work is therefore for free, we do not have any income and we live out of God’s Providence.
About This Cause
We offer prayer, friendship, and fellowship to all with a preferential love of the poor living in our neighborhood. They come to share prayer or to be listened to and encouraged as they struggle to make ends meet. Youth groups from all over the country come to hear our testimony, or for talks about religious topics. We also offer vocational mentorship and spiritual guidance to young women discerning their vocations.
