Mission Statement
Operation Warm & Cozy Inc. (OWC) was founded in 2009 and takes in abandoned, abused/neglected dogs and (cats on severe occasions). In many cases, pet owners fall on hard times or become ill, and OWC finds alternate loving homes for their pets when it is no longer possible for these owners to care for them. Our no-kill sanctuary will house these pets until we can place them, saving them from certain euthanasia in area dog pounds or "kill" facilities. The animals can stay as long as needed. They may remain in our care for the rest of their lifetime if need be. OWC also offers year round low-cost spay/neuter programs for cats. Our goal is to put an end to unwanted animals being born into an unforgiving society, and find loving homes for the ones that are.
