About This Cause
Helping people in need since 1917, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is one of the largest private, not-for-profit social service agencies in the Midwest. Annually we assist hundreds of thousands of people in Cook and Lake counties without regard to religious, ethnic, or economic background. Catholic Charities provides food, clothing, shelter, counseling, housing, and practical help for children, families, veterans, immigrants, refugees, the elderly, and individuals facing poverty, crisis, abuse, or neglect. senior services, day care and other services at over 150 locations throughout Cook and Lake counties.
