Mission Statement
The Hinsdale Humane Society, located in the western suburbs of Chicago, is dedicated to the care and adoption of unwanted and abandoned animals. Since our founding in 1953, our mission has broadened to offer programs and services that celebrate pets and the people who love them, such as our humane education efforts and pet therapy outreach. We are a non-profit organization and accomplish all our goals through donations and support from our generous community.
About This Cause
The Hinsdale Humane Society is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and adoption of homeless animals. We advocate education and public service to encourage the compassionate treatment of animals and to prevent their suffering and neglect. We are a voice for companion animals who are dependent on people for their care and believe they are entitled to our respect and protection.
