Mission Statement

Marmion Abbey is a Benedictine Roman Catholic community of men, priests and brothers, who live a communal life of prayer and work. Founded in 1933 and incorporated in 1935 as a not-for-profit Illinois corporation under the name MARMION. It is organized to do religious, educational and missionary work under the tenets of the Roman Catholic religion

About This Cause

Marmion Abeey's chief apostolic work is conducting Marmion Academy, a college-preparatory high school of boys, with a current enrollment of 530 students. Marmion Abbey is a community of prayer and work, with most of the priests and brothers involved with Marmion Academy.
