Mission Statement
The Rock River Valley Pantry provides nutritious food to those in urgent need.
About This Cause
The Rock River Valley Pantry (RRVP) assists on average 2,000 households monthly. We provide nutritious food that meets the recommended daily amount of calories and nutrition to each member in the household. The RRVP provides 4 days worth of food once a month. Currently 30% of our clients are children, and 13% are over the age of 65. We operate two locations, both set in economically depressed areas, five days per week. We also have a 32 raised bed garden that allows us to grow some of the produce that we distribute. Over 90 volunteers assist every week, contributing to the overall success of our agency.
