About This Cause
The Bloomingdale Baseball and Softball Association (BBSA) is a not-for-profit youth baseball organization which registered with the State of Illinois on April 11, 1972. The BBSA provides youth baseball and softball for children from ages five through eighteen. BBSA has an in-house division and also supports a travel division with both its baseball and softball leagues. The BBSA is a 100% volunteer ran organization guided by its Board of Governors. The BBSA is brother-sistered with The Bloomingdale Park District yet the BBSA runs the league on its own accord and receives no funding from the Park District. The BBSA follows guidlines set by the Park District, such as residency restrictions, Score 6 requirements and others. The BBSA enjoys working with the Bloomingdale Park District to ensure the highest level of quality play possible for all of our athletes. The BBSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other basis covered by local law.
