Mission Statement
Girls on the Run-Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit after-school program that uses the power of running to educate and prepare 3rd-8th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.
About This Cause
The innovative program combines training for a celebratory 5k event with interactive lessons that encourage positive physical and social-emotional development. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment, while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
