Mission Statement
Washington Street Mission exists to share the love of Jesus with the people of Springfield by providing opportunities to meet their spiritual and physical needs.
About This Cause
The Washington Street Mission has been serving Springfield, IL's homeless and impoverished for over 100 years. Every day more than 200 individuals come through our doors to get out of the elements, take a shower, do a load of laundry, receive free clothing, and enjoy a cup of coffee. We have weekly AA and Celebrate Recovery meetings, a weekly gospel service and walk-in case management.
