About This Cause
Located in the urban heart of Houston, Harbor Christian Academy exists to transform students from varied backgrounds across Houston through classical and Cristian education to the glory of God. 77% of our students are from economically disadvantaged families. Parents of HCA students pay tuition according to a sliding scale based on income, and our goal is for classical Christian education to be affordable for any family in the community. Harbor Christian Academy provides a remarkable education that focuses on building a strong foundation for reading and math, immersing students in history and excellent time-tested literature, and cultivating a love of science through the study of God’s creation. With a strong educational and moral foundation, students are being equipped to achieve their God-ordained place in the world, breaking the cycle of generational poverty and building a life of truth and virtue.
