About This Cause
Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes (JAMGL) inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. JAMGL covers 45 counties in West, Mid and North Michigan serving over 61,000 young people annually. JA programs are delivered by volunteers who inspire and mentor young people by providing greater knowledge about business, economics, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. JA programs increases student confidence in their ability to succeed in today's economic reality. JA students are more likely to be satisfied with their career choice as an adult and are also two and half times more likely to be involved in entrepreneurial activities as compared to the general population.
