Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (Sacred Heart) is a non-denominational addictions and HIV/AIDS service provider founded in 1967. Headquartered in Richmond Township, in northern Macomb County, Sacred Heart was founded as a street mission in the City of Detroit by a recovering priest but is not affiliated with any church or faith. Sacred Heart is incorporated in Michigan as a non-for-profit corporation and recognized as a charitable services corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

About This Cause

Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (Sacred Heart) was founded as a charitable organization in June of 1967. Originally a residential treatment center serving indigent males afflicted with alcoholism with treatment based on the 12-Step principles of Alcoholics Anonymous, Sacred Heart has changed greatly over its 50-year history to meet the changing needs of its clients and the challenges it faced in serving them. Sacred Heart's Mission: Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to assisting all people with behavioral health issues, including those with limited means, to improve their quality of life.
