About This Cause
Founded in 1981, EcoWorks is a Detroit-based, BIPOC-led non-profit with over forty years of experience providing services at the intersection of community development and sustainability. We work to build sustainable solutions for frontline communities by giving youth, neighborhoods, and local stakeholders the resources they need to become active stewards of their environment. While our roots are firmly planted in energy conservation, we have grown to emphasize all aspects of sustainable development, working everyday to support vibrant communities that foster social, economic and environmental health for everyone.
