Mission Statement
Volunteer at The Parade Company and help us get ready for America's Thanksgiving Parade ® presented by Gardner White! You will be helping us prepare floats for the Parade by either constructing/painting/or washing them. There are also opportunities to help with the sewing of costumes and office work. Volunteer individually or with a group. Great for team building!
About This Cause
The Parade Company is home to thousands of metro Detroit volunteers! Without our dedicated corps of volunteers, we would not be able to produce the caliber of event that we do for our community’s enjoyment and cultural enrichment. During the year, our volunteers donate approximately 35,000 hours of service time to The Parade Company to help with events such as the Ford Fireworks, Hob Nobble Gobble presented by Ford, Cruise in Shoes - and of course America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Gardner White! The Parade Company also provides volunteer management services for many organizations throughout the City, including the Riverfront Run and Detroit River Days!
