About This Cause

Charlotte Mason Association of Detroit is a non-profit organization which oversees the day to day operations of Charlotte Mason Community School and seeks to recommend the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education to classrooms and learning environments throughout the Detroit area. Charlotte Mason Community School (CMCS) is a non-public, liberal arts, K-8 school that respects children and encourages them to grow as whole persons, academically, physically spiritually and emotionally. CMCS provides a rich and broad curriculum that fosters the devlopment of great minds and wide interests, allowing them to grow in a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom, for their good and the good of their communities.
