Mission Statement
Lifeline Community and Youth Center (LLCYC) was Established under Emmanuel Christian Center. It started with a vision to move to a community need, a safe haven for youth of all ages. LLYCC provides a beacon of light for generations to come. The LOGO is” Building lives of excellence”. The LLCYC can be the difference between success and failure of youth and young adults. It is building the bridge to help close the education gap by creating a learning environment for skill development.
About This Cause
The Lifeline Community and Youth Center (LLCYC) is a place to restore hope, healing, health, and humility. A center to cultivate self-esteem, confidence, resilience youth and offer access to all through Community outreach efforts. Our goal is to reach the Gen Z generation. The statics show that this generation is dealing with depression, suicide rates climbing, and they spend 8+ hours/day online. We are combatting the needs by offering opportunities and other alternative for a healthy future. Provide to the youth and community. The Multi-sport gymnasium complete with regulation basketball court, bleaches, office space for counseling, tutoring and wellness. This Youth Center is located for Regional Association Meetings. The center welcomes families in surrounding communities. Events for toddlers, juniors, teens, young adults, and adults from birthday parties of senior’s early morning walks. There will be numerous opportunities and open Gym days. In this community and surrounding counties, students does not have a gym to use outside of Public-School hours. The LLCYC is more than a GYM, but a family center. It is located in Greene County, and just 10-15 miles from, Albemarle, Orange, Madison, and Rockingham counties.
