Mission Statement

Free Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of feral cats and promoting adoption of homeless kittens. Barn home placement for feral cats who cannot be returned to their locations.

About This Cause

Alley Cat Project provides free spay/neuter services to Seattle area residents and neighborhoods, to help prevent the continued proliferation of unwanted homeless cats and kittens. When we discover homeless kittens born outdoors, we help promote the adoption of these kittens. If the cats we find are friendly cats who can be homed as pets, we will surrender them to the local animal control. When feral cats are not permitted return to their neighborhoods, Alley Cat Project will rescue them from euthanasia by placing them in "barn homes," which may be backyard, garage or shop outdoor homes, as well.
