Mission Statement

The purpose for which the Corporation was formed was to provide financial support, foodstuff, clothing, medical supplies and educational tools to benefit those in need during times of disaster-such was the case with the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano in April of this year; as well as to provide financial support to qualified charities, as deemed appropriate by the Corporation. The Corporation also helps to foster good relations and collaboration within the Vincentian Diaspora in the United States of America and promote the culture of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The Corporation is a Charitable one under section 201 of the NPCL.

About This Cause

Our organization is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and cultural purposes. We have hosted cultural shows and have also performed at various events and places throughout the tri state area over the last fifteen (15) years. One of our main priorities is fundraising to purchase medical supplies for our homeland, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. And, we have traveled there every two years over the last decade to present medical supplies to the General Hospital and twelve Clinics in the outlying districts. On April 17th, 2021, as a response to the volcanic eruption at La Soufriere we were able to ship to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: about 1,000 large hotel-sized towels, bed linens, boxes of depends, 100 nebulizers, sanitizers, wipes, cots, water, and an assortment of food. After the above product donations, we also collected and disbursed $6,858 to the St. Vincent and the Grenadine Relief Committee. At present we have restarted shipping pampers and medical supplies and as of today (8/18/2023) we are in the process of collecting school supplies with a target shipment date to St. Vincent and the Grenadines of end August 2023. Our collections and giving process continues.
