Mission Statement
The mission of the HealthNet Foundation is to provide enduring support for HealthNet's centers and programs through funding and the cultivation of community friendships, partners, and donors. The mission of HealthNet, Inc. is to improve lives with compassionate health care and support services, regardless of ability to pay.
About This Cause
The HealthNet Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization that raises funding to support the programs and services of HealthNet, Inc. We use charitable contributions to increase access to care, address food insecurity, and offer annual scholarships to first generation students pursuing post-secondary education. HealthNet, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 9 locations serving both Marion and Monroe County. HealthNet offers Primary Care, Dental, OB/GYN, and Behavioral Health services to underserved communities lacking access to needed resources. In addition to their wrap around services they have a Homeless Initiative Program that serves more than 1,100 clients annually. The Foundation provides the financial resources to HealthNet, Inc. through donations received by individual donors, corporations and government agencies while HealthNet provides the programs and services needed to address social determinants of health to more than 61,000 patients annually.
