About This Cause
The YMCA of Dane County is a cause-driven nonprofit that serves our members and impacts the broader community both directly and through dozens of partnerships with fellow nonprofits, businesses, school districts, and government entities. Our Y provides financial assistance to make membership and programs available to those in need. Our Y helps kids grow emotionally and physically through the area’s largest child care operation and a diverse selection of sports, fitness and swim programs. Our Y helps adults and families lead healthy lifestyles, manage chronic illnesses, and keeps seniors connected and active. With a strong focus on youth development, our Y provides kids and young adults with the tools and resources they need to succeed in life. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and safe.
