Mission Statement
Jubilee House is a Catholic Worker House of Hospitality, founded in the spirit of Dorothy Day. Dedicated to embodying the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25, we offer care and concern, dignity and respect to all of God's people. Our Mission is accomplished by providing a comfortable atmosphere in which to socialize while enjoying a meal served to all present. We recognize the presence of Christ in everyone.
About This Cause
The purpose of the corporation shall be to operate a Catholic Worker House, Jubilee House, as inspired by the life and work of Dorothy Day, and shall provide refreshments, meals and hospitality for anyone in need. Jubilee House shall be a place where Jesus Christ will be welcomed in the disguise of the hungry, the homeless, the lonely, the stranger, and all will be welcomed, no matter what station in life.
