Mission Statement

United Way of Dunn County unites people and resources to build a stronger community through improved health, education and financial stability creating lasting, positive change.

About This Cause

United Way of Dunn County reach expands throughout both Dunn and Pepin County. Similar to other local united way’s, United Way of Dunn County unites people and resources to build a stronger community by pairing peoples needs with resources and by providing educational and financial opportunities for local non-profit agencies who are hard at work every day. Some of the partner program agencies we fund include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, FamilyMeans, Girl Scouts, Menomonie Area Free Clinic and Senior Center, Reach Out and Read, Stepping Stones of Dunn County, The Bridge to Hope, WestCAP and many more. The one program that sets us apart from the others is our C-3 Center (https://uwaydunn.org/c-3-center/), geared to help families in need of furniture, bedding, housewares, hygiene items, clothing and more – free of charge. This program is intended to make homes and their lives better by allowing individuals and families to utilize their financial resources for basic needs such as food, housing, medications, child care and more — NO ONE is ever turned away.
