At St. Croix Catholic, when we open the door to welcome a new student, we see a beautiful, unique life that has been Created for Greatness. We believe that God has a specific purpose for this person – and it’s our mission, in partnership with parents, to develop this child into the virtuous, faith-filled leader God intended. About This Cause
Founded in 1856, St. Croix Catholic (SCCS) is a fully accredited Catholic school of the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis. The school educates students from preschool through 8th grade; its traditional curriculum is aligned with and even exceeds national and state standards. St. Croix Catholic was the first Catholic school in the state to assume Project Lead The Way, the nation’s leading science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) curriculum. SCCS is affiliated with the local Catholic parishes of St. Michael and St. Mary of Stillwater and St. Charles of Bayport, Minnesota. Enrollment is open to students of all faiths. SCCS hires licensed and experienced teachers, as well as religious sisters from the highly sought Catholic teaching order of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. The mission of SCCS is to deliver a superior education wherein each student, as a whole person, may achieve the full potential to excel intellectually, to live spiritually, to lead responsibly, to act justly and to serve selflessly.
