Mission Statement
Founded in 1995, VINE Faith in Action provides people the opportunity to be of service to neighbors in need. VINE's well-utilized programs chores, respite, caregiver support, meals on wheels, services to elders from diverse cultures, transportation for elders, medical transportation for low-income community members of all ages, People to Jobs, and peer mentor program assist neighbors in Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties to remain living independently for as long as it is safe and reasonable to do so.
About This Cause
VINE Faith in Action “promotes quality of life and a culture of caring, sustained by volunteerism, community engagement, and support for neighbors in need.” We serve older adults and their family caregivers, with a special emphasis on working with community members who seek to age "to the max" -- caring for themselves and others, regardless of their years or means. We are excited about the success of the VINE Adult Community Center (VACC); a unique space and many new opportunities to support aging community members and their caregivers as they navigate the challenges of growing older, maintain their health, and engage in meaningful service and activities.
