We provide meals to elderly people living in their homes.
About This Cause
Meals on Wheels Southshore provides nutritious noon meals delivered Monday through Friday. Our volunteer drivers, in addition to bringing a meal, in some cases are the only visitors our clients may see in a typical day. We provide our service to people who either cannot afford a tasty and nutritious noon meal, or are unable to prepare a meal for themselves. It is because of the charitable contributions we receive that we are able to keep the cost per meal to our clients affordable.
