About This Cause
St. Anthony Park is positioned centrally in the heart of the Metro. It features two commercial districts: Historic Como Avenue in the north and the industrially driven Creative Enterprise Zone in the south, centered around the Green Line Light Rail Corridor. Its clearly defined borders and proximity to two major educational campuses, Luther Theological Seminary and the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus, further contribute to a strong sense of identity, a tradition of community pride, and an actively engaged citizenry committed to smart growth and sustainability. The preservation and enhancement of our core community characteristics through grants sparked the original development of the Saint Anthony Park Community Foundation and that vision lives on as the Foundation enters its third decade of service.
