Mission Statement

The Twin Cities Women's Choir is a diverse community that sings, performs, and affirms the voices of women.

About This Cause

Since our inception, the Twin Cities Women’s Choir has welcomed women from all walks of life into its community. We aim to make beautiful music while building bridges among diverse communities with an emphasis on empowering the voices of women. We've performed with Monroe Crossing, Ann Reed, Bruce Henry, Aimee K. Bryant, Brianna Lane, the Brass Messengers, and the Hi-Bs (to name a few). We've performed at the Fitzgerald Theater, Orchestra Hall, and the Guthrie Theater. We've performed for conventions, and for community and civic organizations. We've sung the national anthem for the Minnesota Lynx, the Minnesota Twins, and Gopher Women's Basketball. The Twin Cities Women’s Choir is committed to making the choral experience accessible to women of all economic backgrounds. The choir does not impose membership fees or require purchase of concert apparel. We receive some concert funding through grants, but we rely primarily on contributions from our own singers, community, and audience. While we're committed to being self-supporting, no one is ever turned away due to lack of financial resources. We believe in the power of music to heal, to nurture, to revive the spirit, and to spread joy. Thank you for your support!
