Mission Statement
The Eastview Community Foundation raises money in order to award grants, scholarships and Random Acts of Kindness grants to the 11 schools in the Eastview Community. We also strive to expand our community and the feeling of ownership to the Foundation and its success.
About This Cause
Since 2000, the Eastview Community Foundation has been supporting Academics, Arts and Athletics in the Eastview attendance area. It was established to not only support Eastview High School but three middle schools and six elementary schools that feed into EVHS. EVCF is made up of 13 volunteer board members and no paid staff. All the funds raised are directed to the schools and academic community. Thanks in part to the generous financial support of individual donars and businesses in the Eastview Community, the Eastview Community Foundation as been able to award: over $125,000 in grants to the Eastview School Community, and almost $400,000 and 715 scholarship to graduating seniors of Eastview High School and the School of Environmental Studies. The academic community served includes Highland, Diamond Path, Greenleaf, Thomas Lake and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools, Black Hawk, Falcon Ridge, and Scott Highlands Middle Schools, the School of Environmental Studies, Eastview High Schools, Dakota Ridge, and Area Learning Center.
