Mission Statement
The Walker Area Community Center is committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone in the community can thrive. Through diverse programs, wellness initiatives, and youth development opportunities, we foster connections, promote well-being, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
About This Cause
We are a nonprofit community center with a recreation facility. We offer rental spaces for birthdays, weddings, business presentations, meetings, and more. We also have a 22,000 sq. ft. arena space that is used for Hockey and curling in the winter and in the summer months we host events, trade shows, and other activities in the Arena. Health and wellness initiatives like Yoga, Senior-focused fitness classes to help improve balance, cardio drumming, step circuit, zumba, and more! We also host many events for things like Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc. All are welcome and we strive to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all ages.
