Mission Statement

The Prison Scholar Fund provides education and employment assistance to help incarcerated people succeed and thrive in society while avoiding homelessness and the revolving door of reincarceration. We also advocate for reform in correctional education to increase access for all.

About This Cause

The Prison Scholar Fund: 1. opens access to paper-based distance education programs that virtually any inmate in America can complete; 2. is developing hybrid-online programs; 3. supports returning citizens as they transition back to our communities.
