Mission Statement
The Mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque is provide Dubuque-area youth programs promoting health and social, cultural, educational, leadership and character development with an emphasis on areas of greatest potential impact in an environment that enables our members to become caring, contributing and responsible citizens.
About This Cause
The purpose of the Club is the health, educational, vocational, and character development of youth. We are concerned with all youth where there is need, but are primarily concerned with youth in disadvantaged circumstances. This means not only economically disadvantaged, but socially, educationally, and physically disadvantaged as well. We are concerned with the emotional behavior, attitude and guidance of youth through wholesome, constructive activities in health, physical educational, social, vocational, and small group programs under professionally trained staff supported by caring volunteers
