About This Cause
Cedar Valley United Way makes it our mission to be experts on the complex and ever-changing human condition. We strive to be a resource-organizer and community problem -solver, with initiatives and collaborative projects that put your contributions to work where they are needed most. Cedar Valley United Way has a unique fund distribution and community planning process that calls on community members and experts to determine the extent of need in our community, assess each program and agency to verify the ability to effectively solve the problem. With careful planning and use of all resources at our disposal - including dollars, volunteers, time and in-kind services - we invest where the resources do the most good. Our mission is to leverage resources to help people, change lives and make your community investment count throughout the Cedar Valley. Our vision to be the leader in building caring and vital relationships throughout the greater Cedar Valley region to produce results, gather and disperse community resources and yield measurable impact. We build the human resources in the valley.
