About This Cause
INTERNATIONAL GAUDIYA VEDANTA SOCIETY ( IGVS) is actively engaged in various social activities, both in Houston and in third-world countries. In Houston, Food drives and collecting small items for those in need are important ways to give back to the community and make a positive impact. Food insecurity is a major issue that affects many people, and by conducting these drives, IGVS is taking a step toward alleviating this problem. By collecting non-perishable food items, IGVS is providing individuals and families with access to the basic necessity of food. These drives not only help those in need but also bring the community together with a common goal to make a positive impact. Besides this, we also support Cataract eye surgeries which are the major cause of blindness around the world thus helping people to come out of poverty Actually, it is amazing to see how funding cataract eye surgeries is a fantastic way to make a lasting impact on people's lives and help them break free from the cycle of poverty. Cataracts are a leading cause of blindness worldwide and by providing access to affordable eye surgery, you are giving people the chance to regain their sight and live a more fulfilling life. Members of IGVS are very proud that we are not only addressing immediate needs in and around Houston but also working towards long-term solutions in third-world countries that can have a positive impact on individuals and communities.
