SNAKE RIVER FUND

JACKSON, Wyoming, 83002-0000 United States

Mission Statement

The mission of the Snake River Fund is to promote stewardship and access to the Snake River watershed in Wyoming with an emphasis on partnerships, education, and public outreach.

About This Cause

The Snake River is among a tiny fraction of U.S. rivers special enough for Wild & Scenic protection. The Snake River Fund works to maintain this national treasure and tributaries for future generations. From managing boat ramp facilities to providing training, equipment and funding to public agencies, we strive for well-managed public access. In addition, our popular educational programs allow young students, river guides and the general public to learn about riparian ecology and the magic of Jackson Hole’s lifeblood. The Fund has a unique ability to leverage even small contributions for great impact. Our secret is strong partnerships and a solution-oriented approach.
