Mission Statement
La Paz Global (formerly World Children's Project) is a registered US 501(c)(3) organization that partners with educational institutions which provide a dual language, experiential learning-centered curriculum in settings that integrate the local community and environment, with the objective of educating and preparing underprivileged students to become thoughtful, contributing citizens in their local and our global community.
About This Cause
Founded in 2006 La Paz Global has been essential to the development of several global initiatives aimed at improving the social capital of underprivileged children. What began with several short-term projects on the continent of Africa has now evolved into more large-scale projects including La Paz Community School located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Your donations will go towards providing children in poverty with a first-class education at their local international school, providing them with all of the advantages to succeed. These schools produce bi-lingual children that regardless of their income and gender will have every opportunity to pursue their dreams. These children become first-generation college students and then are able to raise their families up out of the poverty cycle. In addition to a fantastic education they are stewards of their community and for the planet, as this is a huge part of their education.
