Legal Services of Eastern Missouri advances justice through legal representation, education and supportive services. We partner with the community to improve lives, promote fairness and create opportunities for those in need.
About This Cause
Since its founding in 1956, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri has provided free civil legal aid to more than 1.1 million clients. The impact is event higher, helping millions of Missourians through landmark cases that have expanded access to justice statewide. Services include: - Advocating for Individual Rights through Consumer law, Education Justice, access to Public Benefits and senior law - Strengthening Families through the Children's Legal Alliance, Parental Justice, Lasting Solutions Family law and Youth & Family Advocacy - Access to Healthcare through Advocates for Family Health, Access to Health Coverage and Legal Advocacy for Adults with Mental Illness - Supporting Community Growth through Community Economic Development-Microenterprise, Neighborhood Advocacy, Housing law and Immigration Law. Serving St. Louis City and 20 counties of eastern Missouri, we have office locations in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Union and Hannibal.
