Mission Statement
The Local Investment Commission (LINC)℠ is a citizen-driven community collaborative involving efforts by the state of Missouri to work with neighborhood leaders, citizens, business, civic and labor leaders to improve the lives of children and families in the Kansas City region.
About This Cause
LINC works with children, families and neighborhoods in the Kansas City area. Its primary service is providing affordable, accessible after-school programs in conjunction with its school district partners. We also work with adults to gain training and employment. During COVID19 we pivoted to provide COVID19 vaccinations, utility assistance and food insecurity.
