Mission Statement
The Education Foundation is a school-centered nonprofit 501(c)3 organization under San Jose Unified School District, a public school district. Our organization's mission it to promote academic enrichment and STEAM for all Castillero Middle School students.
About This Cause
support students, parents, teachers and administrators by: 1) conducting yearly community needs assessment and report our findings, 2) seeking input from other school organizations, faculty and administration to identify school needs and priorities in technology, equipment, program support, and teacher training, 3) establishing strategies and working hypotheses suggested by those needs and priorities, 4) setting reasonable goals for implementing the strategies, 5) raising funds for Foundation approved projects, 6) To regularly update the school and local community, integrating and involving them via communications and partnerships.
