Mission Statement
The Washington BID is a 501 c 3 corporation formed to enhance business in Washington Borough and create an environment where business and government work together to promote opportunities, enhance the shopping experience, and preserve the cultural, tourist and civic interests of the district.
About This Cause
Our office produces all town events including three major festivals, the weekly Farmers' Market, family Halloween event, Holiday tree lighting event, Day of the Dead celebration and Juneteenth. Funding for these events comes mainly from sponsorships and grants which also help provide improvements to the downtown including EV charger installation, public pavilion and streetscape.
