About This Cause

The Barcid Foundation offers year-round original development programs for Native American writers, directors, actors and Native youth. The Native Youth Multimedia Workshops is a film program that includes career development and production experience in film and television. Native youth learn about writing, directing, shooting and editing their own movies. Every year we showcase all of the youth films at the LA SKINS FEST in November. Youth who attend the festival are invited to participate in the YOUTH MEDIA TOUR.
